Dal stew,okra with sweet potatoes.

With this coronavirus going universally we are just going to keep it simple but nourrishing.

Today I decided to just have some okra and wild collar green and red split lentils.

The lowly lentil, a type of legume, has been sustaining man for thousands and thousands of years.

Ingredients :

1 cup and half of red lentils

150 g of okra

2 scallions

1 tablespoon of black cumin powder

1 sweet potatoes

1 brunch of collard green

I did not know the brocolis was an hybrid too so next time i will avoid it, so you can remove it and keep the collard green for this dish.

Have a pan of hot water and boiled your washed red lentils for about 30 mn.

Cut all your green and add it to cooked stew.

In a fry pan put some avocado oil and fry for 2 mn your black cumin and scallion and add it to your stew..it raises more flavour by doing so.

Let it simmer for 20 mn.

Cut your sweet potatoes in edges and put it the oven at 160° c and let it cook until it becomes brownish.

Serve it hot and enjoy the food and flavours.
